Think about your first gig. Then stop yourself and think again.

I automatically say Glastonbury 1995 whenever this question pops up. It’s almost true. I’m from Swansea, a place where bands rarely ventured because UK tours always stopped just over the bridge, at TJ’s in Newport, or in the capital if the Cardiff kids were lucky.
